NEW YORK STATE DIPLOMA REQUIREMENTS
Regents Diploma: Required Exams Advanced Regents Diploma* Integrated Algebra Exam English Language Arts Exam English Language Arts Exam Integrated Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II,
and Trigonometry ExamGlobal History Exam Global History Exam U.S. History U.S History Exam One Science Exam Two Regents Science Exams** * To earn a Regents Diploma with Honors or an Advanced Regents Diploma with Honors, a student shall achieve a minimum average of 90% in all required regents exams
** One Science Regents must be Living Environment and one in a physical science (Chemistry, Physics, or Earth Science)
Regents Diploma: Required Courses- English - 4 units
- Social Studies - 4 units
- Math - 3 units
- Science - 3 units
- Foreign Language - 1 unit*
- Art/Music - 1 unit
- Health - .5 units
- Physical Education - 2 units
- Electives - 3.5 units
*All student must earn at least one unit of foreign language to graduate.
Advanced Regents Diploma: Required Courses- English - 4 units
- Social Studies - 4 units
- Math - 3 units
- Science - 3 units

COMMUNITY SERVICE
Service to the surrounding community is a value that we seek to instill in each of our students. In order to graduate, each student must complete 100 hours of community service during their four years at Sacred Heart (25-hours each year). Students fufill this requirement through a variety of opporutunites provided by the school and parish, as well as organizations with which they are familiar.
